PHLEBOTOMY TECHNICIAN

The Phlebotomy Program is split into two parts. In Part 1, students will spend 80+ hours in a traditional classroom and laboratory setting.  Part 2 requires a minimum of 100 hours of clinical experience and a minimum of 100 successful draws.  Students must pass Part 1 with an 80% or better to move to part 2.

Admission Criteria:

  • Accurate completion of the Phlebotomy Technician Application
  • $25 Application Fee, payable by cash, check, money order or PayPal.  The application fee is not included in the cost of the tuition.
  • Required at least 2-3 doses of Hepatitis B immunization series to begin program (proof of immunization required).  3rd dose must be completed 4 weeks prior to clinicals.
  • Negative TB 2 Step within last 6 months (1 step will not be accepted)
  • Proof of Measles, Mumps, Rubella (2 immunization dates required or titers with result and date)
  • Proof of Varicella immunization (2 immunization dates required or titers with result and date)
  • Clear background check, NO FINDINGS (The school will run the background checks)
  • Letter of Intent
  • A Letter of Professional Recommendation from an employer, instructor, or co-worker in support of your application.  Please do not have  a friend or family member fill out the Letter of Recommendation.
  • $200 deposit paid by first day of class ($100 is Non-Refundable)
  • Copy of Social Security Card & Valid Driver's License or picture ID (only required of accepted students)
