Scholarship Information

The Darrick K. Homfeld Scholarship is open to both Lex La-Ray Technical Center seniors from all sending districts and Lexington High School seniors entering post-secondary education.  Foremost consideration shall be for students continuing their education in the field of Welding.  Consideration shall also be given to students entering other technical fields of study.  This scholarship is available for renewal for past recipients.  

Darrick, a life-long resident, was a 1995 graduate of Lexington High School and a student a State Fair Community College.  After his death in 1998, this scholarship was established in his name to assist area students continuing their education.
